Basil lovers, this is for you—an extremely productive sweet basil boasting leaves nearly as big as your hand! The light green leaves are more sweet than spicy and full of flavor and aroma; ideal as lettuce alternative in wraps, on burgers or sandwiches, or in a beautiful caprese salad. Crinkled leaves hold dressings or marinades better than smooth types in your culinary creations. Very slow to bolt.

When to Start Inside: RECOMMENDED. 4 to 6 weeks before transplanting outside. Transplant when your nighttime temperatures are above 50°F.

We bought some lettuce leaf basil seeds and received them very quickly. The seeds sprouted well and have been growing very well. Epic has been great to purchase from. Our only issue is that some of the seeds came up as normal italian basil. All good though cause they all taste delicious. Thank you for having these harder to find seeds at a fantastic price! We love them!

This variety grows massive leaves and the plants seem less likely to bolt. We’ve had quite a few days already in the 90sF+ and these basil plants haven’t bolted yet.
